Dragged, kicking and screaming, to fruition…
Remember this son of a gun? Yeah, you thought it was over, but guess what sunshine? It wasn’t. Okay, so one aspect of the project i neglected to act upon in a timely manner was the masterstroke: Printing. Had to send it out to get printed and actually have a tangible empty book in my hands.
So as per our teacher’s instruction, i got this thing printed through Lulu.com. Before that, though, i had to make some minor modifications to the design. Nothing big, just some some extra garnish to add a little character. The biggest change, however, was the title change. It went from ‘New & Original Ideas’ to ‘Blackout’.
Needless to say, i am honestly far more satisfied with this new version. The same can’t necessarily be said of the print version:
Maybe it’s because of my awful lighting, or my shaky hands, but i’m a little underwhelmed with the printing. God bless Lulu.com, they’re a wonderful service, but come on. The colors simply didn’t come out right. Oh well, what’s done is done.
